Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first

Earlier in the day at Multan, Pakistan won the crucial toss and elected to bat first. Fakhar Zaman was again unsuccessful and returned back to pavilion after scoring 17 runs.

On a slow pitch Babar and Imam played sensibly and put together a 120 run partnership. Imam was out on 77 at total score of 145 runs. Soon in 36th over Babar lost his wicket, scoring 77 runs, at a total of 187.

The platfrom set by the duo of Babar and Imam was not capitalised further. There was not any big partnership after that as wickets keep on falling.

However, the mini-cameo from Shaheen in the final over dragged Pakistan score to 275 runs. Shaheen hit three fours in the over and made 15 runs of just 6 balls.

West Indies batting collapse

Coming to chase, Shai Hope was removed on the last ball of the very first over by Shaheen. Then Kyle Mayers and Brandon King tried to build some partnership and made a 67- run stand. At 71 Kyle Mayers was clean bowled by Wasim Jr.

From there on it was a total batting collapse for West Indies. Pakistani spinners lead by Nawaz kept on striking wickets quickly and West Indies were all out on 155 in just 32.2 overs.
