This star bowler makes come back as Pakistan annouce test squad for Srilanka series.- Pakistan team is scheduled to tour Srilanka to play a two match test series against hosts. The tests will be played in July 2022 with star spinner Yasir Shah returns to the Pakistan side.
The test series is a part of new edition of ICC World Test Championship for the season 2021-2023.The first ICC World Test Championship was won by New Zealand in 2021. They beat India to lift the trophy.

Yasir Shah returns to the side after a gap of almost two years. He played last test in August 2021, before injuries pulled him back from international team. The 36 year old right arm spinner has been crucial to Pakistan in red ball cricket over the past few years.
As Yasir Shah is now declared fit, he has been now introduced in the test squad for Srilanka series. Both teams will play their first test starting from 16 July 2022.
The last time Pakistan visited Srilanka, Yasir Shah emerged as the hihgest wicket taker as Pakistan won the series by 2-1. He took 24 wickets in three tests with amazing average of 19.33.
Nawaz also returns to the test side
Another star spinner Mohammad Nawaz is also making return to the national team after he missed out the Australian test series.
Salman Ali Agha receives maiden call up
For his brilliant performance in the first class cricket Salman Ali Agha has received a maiden call up for the test squad for Srilanka. He made 4224 runs and took 88 wickets in first class cricket.
The Pakistan side will be lead by captain Babar Azam to play two crucial tests. The tests are important to gain points for WTC23.
